Programs | 3rd Wednesdays
Join Pastor Amity and other Gracers as we learn, pray, and act together for racial reconciliation. We will meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month throughout the 2020-2021 program year. Using the framework from the Episcopal Church’s Racial Reconciliation team, we will learn from a variety of resources (books, articles, movies, videos, etc); pray for racial justice in Chicago, Illinois, and the United States; and explore specific ways to act for change. On Wednesday, March 17 at 6:30pm, we will continue to read and discuss James Cone's The Cross and the Lynching Tree (chapters 4-5 and the Conclusion). Please contact Pastor Amity for more information.
